I recently rediscovered images of me and I was jealous of that version of myself. Because I wore excactly what I wanted to wear. And after awhile that faded because I felt that, as a girl, I had to appear differently.

I was in a relationship with another woman for 4 1/2 years, which is pretty gay in itself, but that was the gayest I (and she as well) were admitting to be. Looking gay as an item was okay, but we tried our best to look like hetero women on our own.

After the break-up, beginning of this year, I started to experimenting a little bit. We grew (up) together, but that meant that we both had to compromise a lot. And now I have to be a lesbian "on my own" and I am working on my gender identity.
